Refund Policy

Our Refund Policy is as follows:

1. Items acceptable for return:

A. Items returned within a 30-day period from date of shipment, with approval email from the APC sales department and / or the APC financial department.

B. Items ordered or shipped in error - approved by email.

C. Defective parts - after APC manufacturing inspection and approval. We stand by our quality and craftsmanship with all of our products.

2. Items returned after the 30-day period (from the date of shipment) falls
    under the Old Inventory Rule:

A. Standard handling and restocking fee of 30% of returned goods cost, or $30.00, whichever is greater.

3. Items not acceptable for return are:

A. Discounted items
B. Standard items that have been modified
C. Damaged or used items
D. Special parts
E. Inventory more than 6 months old from the date of shipment
F. Broken packaging

    4. Item return authorization is required:

    You must have a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA) code(s) from American Photonics before items can be returned. To obtain RMA code(s), please contact your sales manager or customer service at (941) 752-5811.

    5. American Photonics does not refund shipping charges for items order incorrectly or pay for return shipping charges on items ordered incorrectly.

    APC does not accept returns in the month of December.

    Credits:
    If returned merchandise meets all criteria, in-store credit will be issued to the customer’s account. All in-store credits are good towards future purchases. American Photonics does not issue credit card or cash credits.

    American Photonics (APC) warrants its products to the original end user for the periods listed below:

    Lens and Mirrors - 30 days after the shipping date

    Nozzles and accessories - 90 days after the shipping date

    Limited Warranty on Manufacturing and Material Defects. Warranty terms do not apply to consumable products.

    Warranty Terms

    This warranty shall not apply to any product that has been modified or used in a manner inconsistent with APC instructions and operation guidelines. Within the warranty periods listed above and at APC sole discretion, APC will repair or replace any warranted parts or components that fail due to such defects in material or workmanship.

    APC must be notified within 10 days after shipping date of such defect or failure ant with time APC will determine if a Return Goods Authorizations (RGA) is justified and issue and RGA number, authorization of a RGA number shall not be unreasonably withheld. APC will supply a RGA form, which must be include with the returned products for inspection by APC.

    Shipping and packing cost shall be the responsibility of the party returning the goods. Once received, APC shall inspect and determined if a warranty claim is justified and at APC's sole discretion authorize a repair or replacement. Once authorization has been granted APC shall provide instructions on the warranty claim procedures to be followed.

    Where authorized, repair or replacement constitutes the sole remedy for breach of warranty and expressly excludes claims for lost revenue, down time and any other consequential damages. The warranty is limited to the conditions started above and excludes, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all conditions, warranties and representations express or implied by stature, law or otherwise in relation to the supply or delay in supplying the goods/ services. There are no agreements, promises or understanding, either verbal or written that are not fully expressed in this warranty. This warranty may be amended or altered only if agreed to in writing and signed by APC.
